The PubAid Community Pub Hero Awards, brought to you by PubAid in partnership with the All-Party Parliamentary Beer Group, celebrate the remarkable contributions pubs make to communities across the UK.
We invite you, as a Member of Parliament, to nominate a pub in your constituency that stands out for its dedication to local causes, whether it's supporting grassroots sports, fundraising, sustainability initiatives, or providing vital community support. These pubs are the unsung heroes and this is your chance to help them gain the recognition they deserve.
By nominating a pub, you could see them shortlisted for the prestigious PubAid Community Pub Hero Awards, with MPs of shortlisted pubs invited to a special awards ceremony in the House of Commons on Tuesday 8th September 2026

Recognising licensees who help their communities. Many pubs offer vital support to their local communitie: delivering supplies or cooking hot meals for vulnerable residents, or keeping people connected through regular meals, quizzes or chats. If your pub is a ‘good neighbour’ to your local community, then this award is for you.
Recognising pubs who support charities and other good causes through fund raising
Recognising pubs who support charities and other good causes through fundraising. This can be through a collection tin on the bar, charity events ranging from quizzes or auctions through to fun days, or sponsored challenges by the licensee, team members or pub customers.
Recognising a pub that truly supports grassroots sport in its area or brings the community together via sporting events.
Pubs contribute over £40m each year to community sport. We want to hear about how your pub supports your sport in your community. From kit, to sponsorship to hosting events are you pub -we are looking for stand out examples to showcase the important role pubs play to the health and wellbeing of their community.
