About Us
PubAid is a working party dedicated to promoting pubs as a force for good in their local communities.
Who We Are
PubAid was founded in 2009 by a number of senior pub industry figures. We work with press, broadcast media, social channels, MPs and others to highlight the great work carried out day in, day out, by licensees, their teams and their customers, in pubs across the country.
Pubs provide invaluable financial, practical and emotional support for a range of charities, good causes and local people. Pubs raise more than £100 million every year for charity and donate a further £40 million in funds or in-kind support to grassroots sports.
If you’re a licensee or a pub goer, we’d love to hear and share good news about your pub. Please submit your stories HERE.
What We Do
Our initiatives include the World’s Biggest Pub Quiz, which has raised £750,000 for charities since its launch in 2016, and annual competitions to find the Community Pub Hero and Corporate Charity Fundraiser.
