
JD Wetherspoon has reached a £26m fundraising milestone for its long-standing charity partner, Young Lives vs Cancer.
Since the partnership began in 2002, staff and customers across the pub group have taken part in a wide range of fundraising efforts, from quizzes and raffles to more ambitious challenges like mountain climbs and skydives.
The money raised will help support thousands of young people with cancer, as well as their families.
To mark the achievement, a celebration was held at The Hedley Verity pub in Leeds, recognised as the top fundraising site since the total passed £25m.
Both the charity and JDW leadership praised the commitment shown over more than two decades, highlighting the continued generosity of customers and the dedication of pub teams nationwide.
